Mission Profile

MBR Explorer (Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre Explorer) is the UAE's second interplanetary mission, planned to launch aboard an H3 rocket from Japan and fly past a series of main belt asteroids before landing on one of them, collecting and returning a sample to Earth. The mission builds on the expertise developed through the Hope Mars Mission and positions the UAE as a leader in planetary exploration in the Arab world. MBR Explorer represents a significant step up in ambition from the Hope orbiter, combining flyby, rendezvous, and sample return elements in a single mission architecture.
