Mission Profile
Nusantara Satu (PSN VI, PSN-6) is an Indonesian geostationary communications satellite operated by PT Pasifik Satelit Nusantara, launched on 22 February 2019 as a rideshare payload alongside SpaceIL's Beresheet lunar lander on a Falcon 9. The Ka-band high-throughput satellite provides broadband internet coverage across Indonesia and the Asia-Pacific region. Nusantara Satu was the first lunar payload and first high-throughput Indonesian communications satellite to launch together on a single Falcon 9 mission, demonstrating the commercial rideshare model's applicability even for missions with very different destinations.
