Mission Profile

WorldView Legion is Maxar Technologies' commercial Earth imaging satellite constellation, designed to dramatically increase the imaging capacity and revisit rate of Maxar's WorldView series to support defense, intelligence, and commercial mapping applications. The constellation of six satellites in low Earth orbit are designed to image any point on Earth multiple times per day at sub-half-meter resolution, providing a persistent near-real-time Earth observation capability. WorldView Legion represents Maxar's next-generation commercial very-high-resolution imaging business, succeeding the WorldView-1 through WorldView-4 generation of satellites.
