Galaxy
🇺🇸Mission Profile
Galaxy was a Bigelow Aerospace concept for a larger inflatable commercial space station module in the BA 2100 series, proposed as an ultra-large habitat approximately 2,100 cubic meters in volume when inflated — more than twice the pressurized volume of the entire International Space Station. The concept represented the far end of Bigelow's inflatable station vision, designed for applications requiring very large pressurized volumes such as pharmaceutical manufacturing, film production, or hosting large numbers of passengers on space tourism missions. Galaxy remained a long-term concept and was never developed beyond preliminary studies before Bigelow Aerospace suspended operations in 2020.
