Northrup Grumman CLD
🇺🇸Mission Profile
Northrop Grumman Commercial Low Earth Orbit Destination is Northrop Grumman's conceptual proposal for a commercial space station to succeed the International Space Station, developed under NASA's Commercial LEO Destinations initiative. The concept leverages Northrop Grumman's Cygnus spacecraft heritage and would be built around modules designed from the outset for commercial operations, science, manufacturing, and potential tourism. Northrop Grumman has been one of several companies studying CLD concepts, with final selection and development contracts expected as NASA prepares for ISS decommissioning around 2030.
