Haven-1

Mission Profile

Haven-1 is Vast Space's first commercial space station, a single module launched to low Earth orbit in 2025 on a Falcon 9 to serve as a stand-alone crewed orbital facility and technology demonstrator ahead of the larger Haven-2 station. The station hosts four crew members delivered by SpaceX Dragon vehicles under an agreement with SpaceX for crew transportation, making Vast the first private company to operate an independent crewed space station. Haven-1 is intended to serve commercial customers, space agencies, and research institutions in the near term while Vast develops the more capable multi-module Haven-2 complex for launch later in the decade.
