Jielong 1 (Smart Dragon 1, SD-1) is a Chinese commercial four-stage solid-propellant orbital launch vehicle developed by CASC's commercial subsidiary China Rocket Co., designed for rapid and cost-effective small satellite deployment. First flying on 17 August 2019 from Jiuquan, it stands 19.5 meters tall and can deliver 200 kg to a 500 km sun-synchronous orbit. Jielong 1 represents CASC's entry into the commercial small launch vehicle market alongside numerous private Chinese competitors.
