The Rocket 1 (Aotearoa 1) was a two-stage American small launch vehicle developed by Astra Space, the company's first orbital-class rocket. First flying in July 2018, the Rocket 1 was an early suborbital test vehicle that demonstrated the basic design before evolving into the Rocket 3 series, though Astra ultimately ceased launch vehicle operations.
