Mission Profile
The Ariane 62 (A62) is a two-stage European launch vehicle in the Ariane family, the lighter configuration of the Ariane 6 featuring two P120C solid rocket boosters for institutional and commercial medium-lift missions. Standing 63 m tall with a 5.4 m core diameter and a liftoff mass of 530 tonnes, it generates 7,980 kN of liftoff thrust and can deliver 10,350 kg to low Earth orbit or 4,500 kg to geostationary transfer orbit. First flying in July 2024, the Ariane 62 inaugurated the Ariane 6 programme as Europe's next-generation launcher to replace the retired Ariane 5.
