Mission Profile

Titan IIIB(34) is a variant of the Titan IIIB using an Agena D upper stage in the 34-series configuration, optimized for high-inclination and sun-synchronous orbit reconnaissance satellite missions. First flying on 10 March 1975, it stood 35.4 meters tall and could deliver 3,600 kg to LEO. Titan IIIB variants carrying Agena D stages were among the primary US Air Force launchers for KH-9 HEXAGON and subsequent large format intelligence satellite programs.
