Mission Profile

The Starship B14/S33 and B15/S34 (Block 2 Starship, Block 1 Booster) is a two-stage American super-heavy launch vehicle in the Starship family, featuring an upgraded Block 2 Starship upper stage with improved heat shield and payload deployment systems. Standing 121 m tall with a 9 m diameter and a liftoff mass of 5,000 tonnes, it generates 74,000 kN of liftoff thrust and is designed to deliver 150,000 kg to low Earth orbit. First flying in January 2025 under the Starship programme, this configuration has continued the rapid iterative flight test programme with increasingly ambitious mission profiles.
