Mission Profile

The Long March 7 (CZ-7) is a two-stage Chinese launch vehicle in the Long March 6,7,8 family, a next-generation medium-lift rocket using kerosene/liquid oxygen propulsion designed to replace the Long March 2F for crew cargo missions. Standing 53.1 m tall with a 3.4 m core diameter and a liftoff mass of 594 tonnes, it generates 7,200 kN of liftoff thrust and can deliver 13,500 kg to low Earth orbit or 5,500 kg to geostationary transfer orbit. First flying in June 2016, the Long March 7 has launched Tianzhou cargo spacecraft to China's Tiangong space station.
