Mission Profile
The Kaituozhe-2 (KT-2) was a three-to-four-stage Chinese solid-fuelled launch vehicle in the Kaituozhe family, a military-derived small satellite launcher for rapid-response deployment. First flying in March 2017, the Kaituozhe-2 was part of China's growing fleet of solid-fuelled rockets derived from mobile ICBM technology, providing quick-turnaround launch capability for military and commercial small satellite missions.
