Mission Profile

The GYUB-TV1 (Goche Yeollyo Uju Balsache, Solid Fuel Launch Vehicle) was a single-stage South Korean solid-fuelled test vehicle, a technology demonstrator for South Korea's indigenous solid rocket motor capability. First flying in March 2022, the GYUB-TV1 was tested after the lifting of US-imposed restrictions on South Korean missile development, demonstrating domestic solid propulsion technology for future military and space launch applications.
