Mission Profile

The PSLV-QL (Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle) is a four-stage Indian launch vehicle in the PSLV family, an enhanced configuration featuring four PSOM-XL strap-on boosters for increased payload capacity. Standing 44.4 m tall with a 2.8 m core diameter and a liftoff mass of 320 tonnes, it generates 4,860 kN of liftoff thrust and can deliver 3,800 kg to low Earth orbit. First flying in April 2019, the PSLV-QL provides additional lift capacity for heavier payloads while maintaining the PSLV family's excellent reliability record.
