Mission Profile
The H3-24L is a planned two-stage Japanese launch vehicle in the H3 family, the maximum-performance configuration featuring four SRB-3 solid rocket boosters and a dual-engine LE-9 core for the heaviest payloads. Standing 63 m tall with a 5.2 m fairing diameter and a liftoff mass of 690 tonnes, it generates 12,972 kN of liftoff thrust and can deliver 7,900 kg to geostationary transfer orbit. With a planned first launch around 2027, the H3-24L will be Japan's most powerful operational launch vehicle, capable of deploying the heaviest government and commercial satellites.
