Mission Profile
The Terran 1 (Relativity Space Terran 1) was a two-stage American launch vehicle, the world's first largely 3D-printed rocket, designed for small satellite delivery. Standing 33.5 m tall with a 2.3 m diameter and a liftoff mass of 77 tonnes, it generated 830 kN of liftoff thrust and was designed to deliver 1,250 kg to low Earth orbit. First flying in March 2023, the Terran 1's maiden launch achieved a successful first-stage burn and stage separation but the second stage failed to ignite. Relativity Space subsequently discontinued the Terran 1 to focus on the larger Terran R.
