Mission Profile

The Veronique N (Véronique N, Véronique Nez) was a single-stage French sounding rocket in the Veronique family, one of France's very first liquid-fuelled rockets used to develop rocketry expertise and launch technology. Standing 10.1 m tall with a 0.6 m diameter and a liftoff mass of 1.1 tonnes, it generated 40 kN of thrust. First flying in May 1952 from Hammaguir in the Algerian Sahara, the Veronique N was the original production variant that launched France's indigenous rocket programme.
