Mission Profile

The Delta 1410 (Thor-Delta 1410) was a two-to-three-stage American launch vehicle in the Delta family, an early Extended Long Tank Thor variant with a single Castor II solid rocket augmentation motor. Standing 35.4 m tall with a 2.4 m diameter and a liftoff mass of 132 tonnes, it generated 1,556 kN of liftoff thrust and could deliver 1,260 kg to low Earth orbit. First flying in April 1975, the Delta 1410 was a transitional configuration launching smaller NASA science and applications satellites.
