Mission Profile
Long March 2F (CZ-2F) is China's primary crewed launch vehicle, a two-stage rocket with four liquid-propellant strap-on boosters and an integrated launch abort system for human spaceflight safety. Standing 58.3 meters tall with a 464,000 kg launch mass and 8,400 kg to LEO, it first flew on 19 November 1999 carrying the unmanned Shenzhou 1 and subsequently launched every Chinese taikonaut on Shenzhou missions. Long March 2F remains in active service carrying crew and cargo to the Tiangong Space Station.
