Mission Profile

The Kuaizhou 11 (KZ-11) is a four-stage Chinese solid-fuelled launch vehicle in the Kuaizhou family, a larger rapid-response launcher designed for commercial small-to-medium satellite deployment. Standing 25 m tall with a 2.2 m diameter and a liftoff mass of 78 tonnes, it can deliver 1,500 kg to low Earth orbit. First flying in July 2020, the Kuaizhou 11's maiden launch ended in failure, though the vehicle has since returned to service as part of China's growing fleet of quick-turnaround solid-fuelled commercial launchers.
