Mission Profile

The Zhuque-2 (ZQ-2, LandSpace-2, LS-2) is a two-stage Chinese launch vehicle in the Zhuque-2 family, the world's first methane/liquid oxygen rocket to reach orbit and a flagship product of LandSpace. Standing 49.5 m tall with a 3.4 m core diameter and a liftoff mass of 219 tonnes, it generates 2,680 kN of liftoff thrust and can deliver 6,000 kg to low Earth orbit. First flying in December 2022, the Zhuque-2 achieved orbit on its second flight in July 2023, establishing LandSpace as a leading Chinese commercial launch provider and demonstrating methalox propulsion ahead of many Western competitors.
