Mission Profile

The Delta II 7326 (Delta 7326) was a two-to-three-stage American launch vehicle in the Delta family, a lighter configuration using three GEM-40 solid rocket boosters with a Star 37FM third stage. Standing 38.9 m tall with a 2.4 m core diameter and a liftoff mass of 168 tonnes, it generated 2,726 kN of liftoff thrust and could deliver 2,460 kg to low Earth orbit. First flying in October 1998, the Delta II 7326 was used for lighter government and scientific payloads where the full nine-booster configuration was unnecessary.
