The Talon-A (Stratolaunch Talon-A, Stratolaunch Hypersonic Vehicle) is a single-stage American air-launched hypersonic testbed in the Stratolaunch family, designed for reusable Mach 6+ flight testing of hypersonic technologies. Standing 8.5 m long with a 0.9 m diameter and a mass of 2.7 tonnes, it is released from the Stratolaunch Roc carrier aircraft, the world's largest airplane by wingspan. First flying in March 2024, the Talon-A provides a unique commercial hypersonic test platform for defence and research customers.
