Mission Profile

The Zenit-3F (Zenit 3F, Zenit-3 Fregat) was a three-stage Ukrainian-Russian launch vehicle in the Zenit family, pairing the Zenit-2 core with a Fregat upper stage for flexible high-orbit delivery. Standing 59.6 m tall with a 3.9 m diameter and a liftoff mass of 473 tonnes, it generated 7,550 kN of liftoff thrust and could deliver 5,800 kg to geostationary transfer orbit. First flying in January 2011, the Zenit-3F was used for Russian government satellite launches from Baikonur before operations were curtailed by the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
