Mission Profile

The Long March 12 (Chang Zheng 12, CZ-12, LM-12) is a two-stage Chinese launch vehicle in the Long March 12 family, a new-generation medium-lift rocket designed for commercial constellation deployment from China's new Hainan commercial spaceport. Standing 62 m tall with a 3.8 m core diameter and a liftoff mass of 500 tonnes, it generates 6,700 kN of liftoff thrust and can deliver 10,000 kg to low Earth orbit. First flying in November 2024, the Long March 12 represents China's latest effort to provide high-cadence commercial launch services for the growing satellite constellation market.
