Mission Profile
Aerobee 350 is a high-performance two-stage sounding rocket in the Aerobee family, capable of reaching very high altitudes for upper-atmosphere physics, astronomy, and microgravity research. First flying on 11 December 1964, it stood 12 meters tall and could loft a 2,268 kg payload to apogee altitudes well above earlier Aerobee models. The 350 designation reflected its improved altitude and payload capability compared to the Aerobee 300 series.
