Mission Profile

The Minotaur IV+ (Peacekeeper SLV+) was a four-to-five-stage American launch vehicle derived from decommissioned Peacekeeper ICBM motors in the Minuteman family. Standing 23.9 m tall with a 1.7 m diameter and a liftoff mass of 36.2 tonnes, it generated 1,600 kN of first-stage thrust and could deliver 1,735 kg to low Earth orbit. First flying in September 2011, the Minotaur IV+ offered enhanced performance over the baseline Minotaur IV with an additional upper stage, serving US government small satellite and technology demonstration missions.
