Mission Profile

The Delta 1900 (Thor-Delta 1900) was a two-stage American launch vehicle in the Delta family, representing a streamlined configuration without strap-on solid boosters. Standing 35.4 m tall with a 2.4 m diameter and a liftoff mass of 130 tonnes, it generated 1,556 kN of first-stage thrust and could deliver 1,660 kg to low Earth orbit. First flying in December 1973, the Delta 1900 supported a limited number of missions before being superseded by more capable Delta variants with augmented thrust.
