Kuaizhou 1A (KZ-1A) is a Chinese commercial small satellite launch vehicle developed by ExPace using solid-propellant technology derived from ballistic missile heritage. Standing 20 meters tall with a 30-tonne launch mass and a 300 kg LEO payload capacity, it first flew on 9 January 2017. Its road-mobile launch capability and rapid deployment timeline make it a competitive option in the global smallsat launch market.
