Mission Profile

Zenit-2M (also known as Zenit-2SLB) is an updated two-stage Ukrainian-built liquid-propellant launch vehicle featuring modernized avionics and support systems for the Sea Launch and Land Launch programs. Standing 57 meters tall with a 13,740 kg LEO capacity and generating 7,550 kN at liftoff, it first flew on 29 June 2007. Powered by the high-performance RD-171 engine, Zenit-2M is one of the most thrust-capable medium-class rockets ever built.
