Mission Profile
Long March 9 is China's planned super-heavy-lift rocket designed to support crewed lunar landings and deep space exploration. Standing 110 meters tall with a liftoff mass of approximately 4,137 tonnes and generating 57,600 kN of thrust, it is designed to deliver 150,000 kg to LEO — comparable to the Saturn V. The three-stage vehicle is targeted for maiden flight around 2033 as the centerpiece of China's ambitious crewed lunar program.
