Jupiter (DIRECT v3.0) 130 ISS/LEO Crew 8.4m was a proposed NASA heavy-lift launcher concept from the grassroots DIRECT team, designed to use Space Shuttle Main Engines and existing hardware for a lower-cost path to heavy lift. With a 94-meter height and 8.4-meter core derived from the Shuttle external tank, it was intended to deliver 70,000 kg to LEO and support crewed ISS missions. The DIRECT concept was formally reviewed but ultimately not selected as NASA proceeded with the Space Launch System.
