Mission Profile

The Titan IIIC with X-20 Dyna-Soar was a proposed launch configuration pairing the powerful Titan IIIC with Boeing's experimental spaceplane under the X-20 Dyna-Soar program. Standing 42 meters tall, the 3-4 stage vehicle would have used liquid and solid propulsion to deliver the piloted glider into orbit. The X-20 program was cancelled in December 1963 before any crewed missions flew, leaving this vehicle as a concept that never reached hardware.
