Mission Profile

Gravity 3 (Yinli-3, YL-3) is a planned two-stage Chinese medium-lift launch vehicle under development by Orienspace, a private Chinese launch startup. Designed to deliver payloads substantially larger than the company's Gravity 1 solid-fuel rocket, the Gravity 3 targets the medium to heavy commercial launch market with a liquid-propellant design. Planned for its inaugural flight around 2027, it represents Orienspace's ambition to compete in the domestic and international commercial satellite launch market alongside established Chinese state-owned providers and the growing cohort of Chinese private space companies. If successful, Gravity 3 would significantly expand Orienspace's commercial launch portfolio.
