HAPITH V XL
🇹🇼Hapith-V XL Kestrel V XL
Mission Profile
HAPITH V XL (also known as Kestrel V XL) is a planned three-stage Thai launch vehicle under development by HAPITH as an ambitious scale-up from its earlier experimental suborbital rockets, targeting orbital capability for small satellites. Planned for a maiden flight around 2028, HAPITH V XL would represent a major leap from the single-stage HAPITH I test vehicle and is designed to deliver small payloads to low Earth orbit. If successful, it would establish Thailand as the first Southeast Asian nation with an indigenous orbital launch capability, a milestone that would significantly elevate the country's standing in the regional space economy.
