Mission Profile

NGLV-H (Next Generation Launch Vehicle Heavy) is a planned heavy-lift variant of India's forthcoming NGLV rocket, envisioned to provide even greater payload capacity than the baseline NGLV configuration. Planned for its first flight around 2031, NGLV-H would use multiple core modules or enhanced stages to significantly exceed the performance of the current LVM3, targeting payloads suitable for large crewed spacecraft, space station logistics, and deep space exploration missions. It represents the most ambitious configuration in ISRO's long-term heavy-lift strategy, positioning India for a future of large-scale orbital construction and human exploration beyond low Earth orbit.
