Mission Profile
Vector-R Block 0.1 was an early flight test article for Vector Launch's Vector-R small orbital launch vehicle, representing one of the company's initial demonstrations of its two-stage kerosene/liquid oxygen rocket technology. Standing 12 meters tall with a liftoff mass of approximately 4,500 kg, it was designed as part of a development program aimed at delivering a compact, low-cost orbital launch vehicle for microsatellites. The May 2017 test flight validated aspects of the vehicle's propulsion and flight systems, contributing to Vector's development program. However, the company later faced financial difficulties and ceased operations in 2019 before achieving orbital capability.
