Mission Profile

Minotaur VI is a proposed five-stage launch vehicle concept in the Minotaur family, based on decommissioned Peacekeeper ICBM stages combined with additional upper stages to achieve medium-lift performance. Standing 36 meters tall with a liftoff mass of 86,000 kg and generating 2,675 kN of thrust, it is designed to deliver up to 3,100 kg to low Earth orbit. As a concept explored around 2024, the Minotaur VI would represent the most capable and ambitious vehicle in the Minotaur series, offering government-restricted medium-lift launch services to authorized customers using surplus military ballistic missile hardware under U.S. government oversight. The vehicle had not yet been formally funded or contracted for development as of its concept date.
