Mission Profile

Long March 11 (CZ-11) is a Chinese four-stage all-solid-fuel launch vehicle developed by the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology (CALT) primarily for rapid-response missions and small satellite constellation deployment. Standing 20.9 meters tall with a liftoff mass of 58,000 kg and generating 1,200 kN of thrust, it can deliver 700 kg to low Earth orbit. Since its maiden flight in September 2015, Long March 11 has demonstrated impressive operational flexibility, including China's first-ever sea launch from a mobile platform in 2019, enabling orbital insertions from equatorial latitudes that fixed domestic launch sites cannot provide. This versatility makes it a key asset for time-sensitive satellite replacement and emerging Chinese commercial space missions.
