Mission Profile

Spectrum is a German two-stage liquid-propellant small satellite launch vehicle developed by Isar Aerospace, designed to deliver small and medium payloads to sun-synchronous and low Earth orbits from European launch facilities including Andøya in Norway. Targeting its maiden flight in early 2025, Spectrum uses liquid oxygen and kerosene propellants and is designed with automated ground operations and vertical integration to minimize preparation time. The vehicle represents Germany and Europe's growing commercial launch ambitions, offering domestic and independent orbital access for small satellite operators as an alternative to non-European launch providers.
