Hyperbola-3 (SQX-3, Shuang Quxian-3) is a Chinese commercial two-stage medium-lift reusable launch vehicle under development by iSpace, targeting its first flight in late 2026 as the company's pivot from small solid-fueled rockets to liquid-fueled reusable medium-lift vehicles. Building on iSpace's propulsion work and experience with the Hyperbola-1 orbital solid rocket, Hyperbola-3 is designed with first-stage recovery to reduce per-flight costs. The vehicle represents iSpace's strategy to remain competitive in China's evolving commercial launch market as reusability becomes increasingly important for cost competitiveness.
