Mission Profile

The Long March 12A is an enhanced variant of China's Long March 12 medium-lift rocket, designed with a two-stage liquid-propellant architecture to offer improved payload capacity and mission versatility over the baseline configuration. Part of China's new generation of commercial and government launch vehicles, the Long March 12A made its orbital debut on December 23, 2025. It is positioned to serve China's growing demand for medium-lift launch services, complementing the broader Long March 12 family and supporting both domestic government programs and commercial satellite deployment.
