Mission Profile

The Vega-C Light is a proposed lightweight variant of the European Vega-C small launch vehicle, designed to offer a more cost-effective option for smaller payloads while retaining the core three-stage Vega architecture. Standing 34.8 m tall with a 3.4 m diameter and a liftoff mass of 210 tonnes, it is projected to generate 3,738 kN of thrust and deliver up to 1,500 kg to low Earth orbit. If developed, the Vega-C Light would serve Europe's growing demand for affordable, dedicated access to orbit for small satellites and institutional missions.
